Waterhouse Consulting Group is holding an exclusive Leaders Summit on Preventing Violent Extremism on 7th October 2008 at Portcullis House hosted by the Rt Hon Sadiq Khan, Minister, Chief Whips Office.
Waterhouse Consulting Group's (WCG) Institute of Counter Extremism (ICE) was established in January 2008 because of the need to professionalise work on Muslim communities and preventing violent extremism. Professionalism cuts across religious sects, cultural or ethnic groupings and political affiliations. It is, therefore, a neutral body that brings together some of the most senior and credible Muslim experts in this field across the UK. It’s extensive knowledge base is respected widely and spans from theology to policy, practical solutions and delivery.
We bring a socially focused but commercially disciplined approach to the delivery of our work. We have strong relationships across governments, key scholars and grassroots organisations both in the UK and abroad.
Our Chairman & Managing Partner, Dr Waqar Azmi OBE (UK Governments’ former Chief Diversity Adviser); the Senior Partner & Head of the Muslim Communities & Preventing Violent Extremism Division, Zareen Roohi Ahmed (former Chief Executive of the British Muslim Forum); and the Senior Partner for Government Relations, Faraz Yousufzai are just some of the people who manage key relationships and deliver our work.
At Waterhouse Consulting Group, our aim is simple: to deliver excellence in everything we do. Our hallmark is simple: pride, passion, and professionalism. We take pride in what we do by delivering a world class service with utmost professionalism. We set high standards and in return want to be known for quality, value and service.
We are based in Birmingham (UK) but through our network of partners we work from different offices in the UK and throughout the world. |
